Based on the effect that Pb、As、Sn can increase the supercooling tendency of molten iron, it is possible to use the Pb、As、Sn containing pig iron produced in Fujian province of China and adopt sand mould casting process to obtain D-type graphite cast iron, and its production process was investigated.
