Study of the dynamic metallurgical behavior of the brazing interface of cobalttungsten insert and steel rod revealed a fact that a poor cobalt belt and a clastic crystalline zone formed on the subsurface of cobalttungsten carbide in the dynamic process of fusion and diffusion, which, in turn, brought about microscopic cracks.
