This paper proposes a new pyrometallurgical process for treating zinc oxide ore iron bath smelting reduction process, and describes the experimental investigation of the process after analysis of its principle; the zinc oxide dust thus produced contains 95~98% ZnO, 1 6~2 5% PbO, and the zinc volatilization rate is higher than 93%.
